At the heart of the Celestia collection lies Sol — a celebration of the star that gives our solar system its light, warmth and energy.

The centrepiece of the collection, Sol represents the beginning of our celestial journey. Designed to embody the radiance and movement of the Sun itself, this exceptional piece combines traditional jewellery craftsmanship with a contemporary interpretation of one of nature’s most powerful forces.

At its centre sits a striking natural princess cut diamond, measuring 5.16mm x 5.20mm, carefully selected for its brilliance and precision. The clean geometric lines of the diamond reflect the structured beauty found throughout the universe, while its exceptional sparkle captures the ever-present light of our own star.

Set within 18ct white gold, the crossover design creates a sense of movement and flow, representing the constant energy and rotation found within the Sun. The sweeping shoulders embrace the diamond like rays of light extending outward, creating a piece that feels both elegant and dynamic.

Unlike the planetary rings within the Celestia collection, Sol is produced in an exceptionally limited edition of only 10 individually numbered pieces worldwide. Each ring is engraved with the astronomical symbol of the Sun — a circle with a central point — alongside its unique edition number, marking its place within this exclusive series.

The first completed piece is engraved 001, representing the beginning of the Celestia collection and the first chapter in the story of James Stephens & Sons Jewellers’ own designed collections.

Designed, handcrafted and finished within our own workshop, each Sol ring is officially hallmarked, confirming the purity and authenticity of the precious metal.

A statement of light, craftsmanship and rarity, Sol is more than the centrepiece of Celestia — it is the foundation upon which the entire collection revolves.

Each Celestia Sol ring is individually handcrafted within our workshop and prepared specifically for you. As part of this process, your chosen ring will be crafted, set & engraved in-house.

We aim to prioritise all Celestia orders, with delivery typically within 1–2 weeks. Please note that hallmarking times are controlled by the Assay Office and may occasionally add a few additional days to the completion process.
